LUKE 14:17
"and sent his servant at supper time to say to those who were invited, 'Come, for all things are now ready."
Welcome to our website! It is our desire and prayer that you will always be blessed and encouraged, every time you visit.
Exodus 3:1 Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Median. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. Exodus 3:2 And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire , but the bush was not consumed.
Change, Change, Change!!! According to Webster's Dictionary the word "change" is to become different, to alter, to transform, and to pass from one phase to another." Sometimes change will cause movement from a higher level to a lower level. Change may be about substitution, variation or replacement. Whatever the change may be, when it happens we will feel it and know that it is taking place. We will know it because we will begin to sense a shifting and a sifting taking place in our lives, especially in these last days. When we sing "change my heart o'God" we are asking God to bring about a change that will transformour lives for ever. The kind of change we have always expected. a change for the better. However, before that, longed for change comes. I believe we will begin to see that "sifting" and that "shifting"taking place. The sifting will come when God begins to separate everything that is from everything that is not, so that only that which is firm remains. The shifting will come when God begins to move usand place us exactly where we belong in the Body of Christ so that we can successfully accomplish our God-given purpose in these last days. (Hebrews 11:27) Change! Moses knew about change! During the first forty years of his life, he lives as a prince in Pharaoh's court. He then spends his next forty years as a shepherd in Median and finishes hislast forty years leading God's people toward their destiny. Change!Change will always come. If you have not experienced change yet, keep walking, keep living. The Bible says that to "everything there is a season." Change will come whether you are ready or not. In my own life, I have found that where "change" finds you really matters. When God appears to Moses, He found him tending sheep. To some, tending sheep would be considered a humble, menial task. especially for someone with his background and education. However, there is no greater, more honorable place to be found in than doing the will of God. It is a great blessing and source of joy to be in the right place doing the right thing at the right time. Walking daily with God will keep us focused and in our lane. When we are in our lane, the lane that God has designated for us, it will not matter whi is on any other lane because we will always be satisfied knowing that we are where we belong! When God appeared to Moses, he was where he needed to be, tending sheep. He was "being" and he was "doing". Whatabout us? Are we living our lives in a way where we are flexible in God's hands? Living totally surrendered so that God can sift us and shift us as he wills until we come into total agreement with His purpose for our lives? Are we willing to surrender to the changes God wants to make His house (the church) and His vessels (us) for the Honor and Glory of His name! Satan loves it when he comes around with his garbage and finds us being lazy. Spirtual laziness will always mean more struggles in the end, especially when "change" begins to take place. Remember the virgins with no oil for their lamps? Right now you may be the only sheep you need to tend to, do it diligently. Be diligent in your prayer life, your reading and searching of the scriptures. Be diligent in your seeking of His Face, Presence and Power! When "change" comes, be found doing what the Master has called you to do in the place He has called you to do it. God Bless you! Be found faithful!
Faithfully His,
Pastor Carmen
