Come and Dine on God’s Word. Hope, Peace, Joy, Contentment are all found in a life founded upon the Bible. There is all you need for a full and contented life within the pages of the Bible.
THOUGHTS
When we think of our Christian walk on this earth. So many times we get our focus only on the wonder of eternity. And oh how wonderful that will be. But we must never forget the wonder we have in walking with Jesus every day here and now.
We need to realize that as we walk this life here and now we have Jesus and the Holy Spirit ever present with us. We have the unchanging word of God to guide us. We have the unfailing promises of God to stand upon.
I like to think of this Christian life like a banana split. While we are walking this earth with Jesus it is like all the wonderful fruit and ice-cream that we can enjoy. We can daily enjoy the deliciousness of the presence of Jesus filling us with delight and pleasure.
But above this wonderful walk we have with Jesus every single day of our lives, we have more to look forward too. Beyond this, daily living in His presence and experiencing His joy, we have hope for an eternal future. Much like above all the wonderful ice-cream and fruit glazes there is still the whipped cream and nuts and finally the cherry on the very top of the banana split.
We have all this wonderful time to spend with Jesus here and now. But oh my, what wonder and pleasures are awaiting us once we get to Heaven and are forever in His presence where there is no pain, no sorrow, no burdens. Only unspeakable peace and joy beyond all measure.
Don’t get discouraged in your walk with Jesus here and now. Remember how wonderful He truly is and enjoy every moment as you walk this life with Him.
