Come and Dine

God's Word, living Manna

Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

There is Suffering

One of the greatest black eyes to Christianity in our world is the fact that there is Suffering.  You hear over and over how can a loving God allow suffering. Many have used this statement to turn away from the story of the gospel. They are looking for a utopia full of pleasure and enjoyment. They do not want to know anything about suffering or hardships. And so, they use this argument against the God of the Bible and want nothing to do with Him because they cannot have things their own way and never face anything difficult..

Sin – Adam’s choice, mankind’s choices brought about suffering, brings suffering.

Jesus come into this world and endured much suffering for our sake to remove the sin curse that brought all the suffering into the world.

It is not that God creates or brings suffering upon us. He has allowed humanity to make up their own minds and do their own actions. That causes suffering of all kinds. He has created an eternal remedy.  Jesus came and endured suffering, bearing the curse and nailing it to His cross in order that we might have eternal life free of all suffering, death and all the consequences of sin.
